RE-CAP / VOCABULARY REVIEW
Divide children in pairs and give them some flashcards to play with. One of them has to be the teacher and raising the cards, one by one, asking: “What’s this?”, then wait for the answer and eventually give the card as a prize to the playmate. Children actively learned almost all the words. Some of them found this game easy, other tougher, but just because they all learn in a different way. I was surprised and glad to see how many words even the shier children had the courage to say aloud (this is my personal reward!)
PREPARE THE FINGER PUPPETS
Download here the finger puppets to tell the story again. Provide the children with a copy each and and let them color and cut out. Then, with some tape, attach one by one to a stick.
Now children are ready for the show! If anybody knows how to read, let her try, otherwise you read and children repeat and act with the stick characters on the background they made last time (lesson 5)
MEGG’S CHOCOLATE EGG HUNT
Hide and let children discover where the hints are! For each one, prepare some tests talking around the story. At the end, since I thought there could not be a better conclusion.. give the children a real chocolate egg and enjoy it altogether!
